Ear crop question

Most of the time I prefer natural ears I have nothing at all wrong with crop/dock, but I just generally like the natural look but little Kronos will be cropped if his ear full prick like I think they might... question what's to old?

On the American breed dane I like the cropped look, on the GM mastiff I like natural, sometimes cropped can be nice but its hard for some people to get it right because of the different head set.

Notice they don't look like the "giraffes" of today.

I think the longer crops compliment their heads better.

As far as what is too old, it depends on what kind of crop you want, longer crops need to be done by 7 or 8 weeks, medium by 9 or 10, and short by 11 or 12. Most vets won't crop a dog over 12 weeks because if you want it to stand and you wait longer than that they'd basically have to hack the whole ear off.

Then how about looking into german breeders, Danes are on place 6 of the popularity list in Germany, so there are many breeder websites you could check out to find your prefered phaenotype.

I was finally hoping to get one pup from across the pond however it was not meant to be. So my search continues. Now I am looking at three breeders in a hopes of getting another GM like Thor.
