It's the XXL bed. With our vet thinking Declan will be nearly 250lbs healthy we went with the biggest one we could find.

Right, that‘s what we did, too. We are good in terms of weight, but he puts his head down on the floor while his body is still on the bed. I guess it‘s too short for him to find a comfortable position.

I learnt that dog beds are too small for Kryten. He sleeps streched out and if I remember right he was 54 inches from nose to butt and he stands with his hind feet pulled in and his back hunched so likely would be longer if he was medically sound. I have used twin mattresses for dog beds but he prefers to sleep on the carpet where your feet will be on top of him.
