Good news and bad news

The good news is I came home to find our 7 month old Cane Corso in the middle of the living room. The furniture wasn't ripped up, she didn't steal any food, kill the rabbits or mess on the carpet. Yay Tara!
The only bad news is that she was left "securely" in her crate upstairs!
Apparently steel crates with two latches aren't enough to contain her when she wants out. Maybe a plastic crate with nothing for her to sink her teeth into will work better.

My daughter and son-in-law used scissors clips to seal the deal on the crate. Bella has learned how to open both latches. CC's are Houdinis sometimes. Good luck. Oh, but if nothing is chewed up, and bunnies are still alive, perhaps you could experkment with life outside the crate. Freedom one room at a time.

the plastic crate worked for my smaller dog, he'd basically destroyed his wire one, but get a good one with wire mesh for the windows, or they'll be able to get started at the window area!

Carabiners or regular metal clasps to back up the door latches should fix it right up.
