Hard pieces in skin at the side of the elbows

My Fila male has on the side of his elbows hard pieces in the skin.
Does anyone have a suggestion what this might be?

At first we thought that it was callus. The strange thing though is that it doesn't sit on the parts of the elbow hit the floor when he lays on the ground but rather on the sides. He also lays barely on a hard surface but mainly on the couch or on a soft blanket.

Also we have thought of elephant skin. Looking at pictures it doesn't look a like. His skin is almost completely intact with a single crust. There are more subcutaneous nodules.

We plan to go to a vet but curious of someone overhere has an idea. We hope they won't turn out to be those ugle bumps you see more at Fila's. Also wonder whether this breed is so sensitive fot things like that?

The picture is an example of the place and the bumps we hope it's is not going to be. At our male there is nothing to see just to feel. Perhaps someone knows a way to avoid this going further?

Yes, no worry there is a solution ...there is a cream(ointment) names:lichensa...

1.mix lichensa with any of the petrolium jelly..ex:vaseline
2.apply on the area.
3.tie an soft cloth.for the whole day.

Do it regularly ....

You will see results.

KEEP AWAY FROM HARD SURFACES..KEEP IN GRASS OR ON ANY SOFT SURFACE.

THANKS..

thanx for your information!!

i'll search the net and check out what it is and how it works.

hard surfaces we try to minimalise, in and outside there are soft blankets but sometimes he preferes lying on the hard ground. can't force him to lay soft if he want's to lay on hard ground. in the house he has his own couch, thick and soft blankets on the floor and outside he also loves laying on the trampoline of the children covered with blankets. sometimes I think we spoil him to much...
