My daughter-dog who has put on some winter (mom won't go for hikes in the snow) weight, is pulling about 140 right now and is definitely 20 lbs over. We will be working on that this year - both of us. So, I'd expect a male to go easy 125 or even 135, depending on height. I know a male Corso in my neighbourhood who is very tall indeed...at least three inches taller than my girl...he's massive, and I know he's in the 140+ range.

Hi Patrick and Magic! I'm glad you were finally able to join. It's nice to see more action on the forum. I don't have a Corso. I have an EM and boxers. My experience over the years with my large and giant dogs is that the first two years is growing up and the third year and a little beyond is gaining mass. The head and chest broaden and they put on more muscle and weight. Don't go by the number on the scale. Go by body condition. Magic looks great to me and I'm sure you'll keep him active and building muscle and not fat in the next two years. I hope you stick around and tell us more about yourself and your boy. And post lots of pictures. We like those.

Thanks for the info Glen. I Absolutely love watching Magic grow and figure things out... the other day I had him sit and stay as I walked nearly a football length away and he waited until I yelled come and he took off... I am loving him growing up.

Sounds like you training is coming along nicely, and that's true, you can see them figuring things out there a clever breed, I changed stay to freeze so if there running away from me they instantly stop also, love training and there ages now at 7,6 and 5 I still train every day on walks. Enjoy magic they sure grow fast.
