Hi everyone,
I am the owner of 2 Cane Corso's. My first is nearly 2years old and I have been showing her since spring. I decided to purchase a male this summer with the intention of showing and breeding in the future. However, I have been having a lot of trouble with the breeder. I did a lot of research on reputable breeders in the area and found one in Ohio who has been involved with the breed since the early 90's. After signing a contract and paying 2500 for this dog the breeder has yet to provide me with the registration papers. It has now been over 4 months and every time I talk with him about it he has another excuse and tells me they are coming (that is if he even answers or returns my calls). Any advice would be helpful.
Thanks Keith

Has the breeder sold the entire liter? If they still have pups that might be the hold up. But contacting a mediator could be a good thing to "encourage" the process. Does your contract specify a time limit?
