I've been working with animal shelters for 10+ years in metro Atlanta. In the past few years I've started focusing on pit bulls and other bully breeds since our shelters here are full of these types of dogs. My husband and I started our own shelter, Atlanta Bully Rescue. We are a licensed, nonprofit 501(c)(3) animal shelter. We have gotten in a couple of mastiff mixes and we've actually seen an increase of mastiff breeds at animal controls here in the past couple of years. Of ten times they are mixed with pit bulls, since the BYB's seem to be going for the biggest "pit bull" instead of breeding for health and temperament. I'm always trying to increase my knowledge of different breeds so I thought I'd join this forum
