we have two Cane Corso & Rottweiler mix dogs. One is male and one is female. They are brother and sister. Unfortunately my grandchildren let them out of the yard. Before we could catch them they knock down a child and scratch her. In NewJersey that made them potentially dangerous dogs. They were removed to a pound until the court case came up. To make things short after paying fines and agreeing to other conditions, the dogs were returned. They are good dogs but they are big and a bit rambonctious. They are 1 1/2 years old. i need to find them a good home cause they were able to get out again. We grabbed them real quick but neighbors turned us in. much larger fines which we will have to pay. We are concerned they will remove the dogs and possibly put them to sleep. We are in burlington county NJ.It would be easier if the dogs were not in Jersey. We are allowed to sell or give them away as long as the buyer are notified that in NJ they are considered dangerous dogs. Please help as they are loveable dogs.

Have you contacted the breeder? Most have first right of refusal.

go on all the mastif forums inc individual breed specific forums. I am guessing that you bred them as you have both male and female litter mates so you could explain the temps of parents and such to prospective adopters. Try Fila Brasileiro forums as some of those folks have gotten really good at placing hard to place dogs (Filas are notoriously hard to place becuase of their temp). Good luck and keep us informed w/what goes on w/ them, I will start spreading the word in other circles....pics?
