  • Welcome back!

We decided to spruce things up and fix some things under the hood. If you notice any issues, feel free to contact us as we're sure there are a few things here or there that we might have missed in our upgrade.

Hey!

I just thought I would stop in and say hello. It's nice to find people who love these Monsters as much as I do!

Here is a brief introduction of myself and my Stormy who i call moose! I am a teacher up in the lovely state of Montana. I have two small kids, 2 and 4 and wanted a Mastiff ever since I was little. When I was growing up my mom had a Bullmastiff and she is something I never forgot. So when I finally got my own house and had time and money I started looking.

I used petfinder to look for dogs. I knew I really wanted a Mastiff. I had applied a few places and they told me I had no experience with rescued dogs or large breeds. I had a few other dogs that were rescued but they were considered my mom's dogs because of I was a kid. (16-18).
Alright now on with my story! I found an adoption agency in ID with a English Mastiff. She was perfect 2 years old, originally from Montana, and was ok with cats and small kids. I couldn't believe my luck! So I inquired and was accepted. When we had everything together we learned our soon to be dog had allergies. She could not have beef or wheat. I didn't care and did some research on dog foods without. We headed to Idaho in the dead of winter and three passes later we arrived late at night to where she was fostered. When she came out from behind the counter I fell in love. Apparently she did too, she bumped my hand and got some loves and then was off to the door.

Since then she has been in our home and is the love of my life. She filled out to a nice 140 lbs and is just easy tempered and enjoys bike rides and going to the amtgard park. Though currently she is on the slow side, we had to have surgery on her knee done this last week, because of lax knees. She is recovering well, though is stubborn and will not use her ramp for nothing. Stubborn..

So that's about me and my pooch! I hope to get to know you guys!
