  • Welcome back!

We decided to spruce things up and fix some things under the hood. If you notice any issues, feel free to contact us as we're sure there are a few things here or there that we might have missed in our upgrade.

Hi everyone. I'm Teddy's mum and we're new here

Hello. I live in North Wales (UK) with my partner & 2 dogs. We adopted Teddy, a neglected Bullmastiff/DDB cross, a year ago when he was 6 months old. His 'sister' Maggie, a rescued Staffie cross, befriended him while she was in boarding & insisted we bring her 'new puppy' home with her. Since then he has doubled in size, but despite the size difference she bosses him around & insists on washing him morning & evening whether he likes it or not (to be fair he usually does).

I've never had a mastiff before (aren't they huge & he's not fully grown yet!) so it has been a steep learning curve. I'm lucky. Despite his history (6 homes in his first 6 months), he's a gentle, loving, placid big guy with a wicked sense of humour & we all adore him. That's not to say we haven't had the odd problem but every time I've had a question I found the answer (or someone with the same problem) on Mastiff Forum so here I am. Hopefully we can support each other.

Welcome! Whoa, 6 homes in 6 months! What a whirlwind for such a young pup. I'll bet that boy is simply thrilled with having a consistent family to call his own.

Please post some pictures of both dogs! :)
