How long did you wait for the right pup

I just grabbed the first one I saw at the Pet Store in the mall.

I agree very frustrating at first and patience is the key. I was VERY disappointing when the first breeder didn't work out, however I am pleased that I did research a breeder years prior before purchasing a pup. I just chalked it up as a learning experience and moved on.

I got lucky, I guess, partially because I wasn't set on a purebred. I had mastiffs, Newfies and a few other dogs in mind when I started looking. I simply googled puppies in my region and the very first page I looked at had the litter Mira is from available. Fila, English, and Newfy mix. She's beautiful! Must have been fate. =)

We waited almost 1 1/2 years to pull the trigger. We knew we wanted a mastiff but my husband and I had different ones in mind. He wanted the CC and I wanted the bull mastiff. We saw both dogs through out the time and nothing clicked for us. After a series of home invasions and robberies everyday luck had it there was a liter of cc just born. We then saw the Liter Luna came from which are at 4 weeks and then 9 and It was love at first sight and I got that funny feeling like this is where my dog is ..I repeat my dog, not his, not the kids but mine. I'm very posessive of her, dont know why actually now that Im typing it. But all kidding aside the breeder chose her for us based on the things we told her were important to us with our family life.
