Looking for breeder info

Hello All,

I have spent the past few months doing some research on bullmastiffs and was looking into getting a puppy. I live in long island, NY and was wondering if anyone knew of any breeders in the area? I am also willing to travel to NJ or PA. I have tried looking online but cant seem to find a breeder that is within driving distance. Also, would anyone have info on typically how much a puppy from a breeder might cost? I've seen a wide range of prices online and am nervous about getting ripped off.

As for puppy pricing, I can't speak to New York, but here in the Great Lakes area, one can expect to pay the top breeders -- those breeding for health, temperament and conformation -- $2000-$2500 for a show-quality Bullmastiff. Pet quality would be somewhat less, say, $1500-$1800.
