Sorry to hear that Glen. You are right, we just don’t have enough time with our best friends. I swore we wouldn’t get another dog because the loss of our Bull Mastiff was painful. I soon realized that we still needed the companionship they provide. All the best to you and Budcuss!

Oh that sucks. I am so sorry, they really are here for too short a time. Even worse when age is not what takes them from you.

Oh no, I'm so so sorry to hear this. Rhaegar is also in his last months, so I feel your heartbreak. It's just not fair what short lifespans these amazing dogs have. I hope Budcuss gets time to show the new pup what being a good boy is. Your are in my thoughts.

I’m so sad for you. This news regarding Budcuss is heartbreaking. I wish we had more time with out beloved dogs. Also, I’m truly sorry for your loss. I remember Gandalf, especially that pic of him by the fireplace and with the new puppy, from back in the day… I just saw this post, after coming back to the forum. My boy Luther is still around, he's almost 10 years old, although he haven’t had any serious health issues, now I’m always worried about him and any change that might be happening. You are in my thoughts, stay strong.
