I am thinking of you and hoping you can find some comfort as you think about some happy memories. I am so sorry for
Your loss. We put our Rottie down in 2006 for many of the same reasons, and to this day I still occasionally ask if I could
have just had "one" more day, but I understand that is my selfish side because the sensible side knows it was the best
decision to make. Mourn however you need, I don't know about you but a new puppy came home 6months after and it
filled a tiny bit of the void in my heart

You made the right decision, I too have had to make the decision with two of my dogs and know that it is so hard RIP Maggie Mae

Please take solace in knowing you did the right thing, she is now running around at the bridge pain free just waiting for the day you get to play again.
