My cat, BrrBeary, is so weird

This morning I was making myself a lunch for work (a chicken sandwhich). And I dropped a piece of the chicken on the floor. Since I wasn't about to eat a dirty piece of chicken with dog fur stuck to it I decided to divide it up as treats for the pets. The dogs were outside and brr was sitting on a stool watching me as I prepped my lunch so I offered him a piece first. He immediately jumped down and started backing away from me quickly so I kneeled down and held the chicken out to him. He gave me this super offended and upset look and then ran away and hid behind the dog crate and glared out at me.

I should also mention that every treat, wet food, meat, etc I have ever offered to BrrBeary he has refused (though not quite so violently as this time). He only ever eats his kibble and if we ever try to give him different kibble he won't eat it.

Such a weird cat.

Me and Brr a few years ago when I was trying to be blond like my littlest sister. I decided blond was just too much work.

And here is a pic of BrrBear as a kitten (a long time ago) with me

He's a cat, of course he's weird. That's what makes them so fun. I love blue eyes on cats but the only ones I've known are on Siamese and they truly are insane. I somehow ended up with a second one after swearing never again.

I am pretty sure that BrrBeary has siamese mixed in him. I had a half siamese as a kid and he has some of the same crazy traits. He also is very dog like which my other Siamese mix was as well.

Haha if it wasn't for his history of refusing any food other than his kibble I would agree with you. I have never had a cat who refused wet food, fresh meat, milk, etc. The only thing he will eat is his one brand of kibble. Although, he does try to eat plastic items sometimes and loves eating flowers. We can't have flowers in the house because he will absolutely try to eat them (same with the leaves on a pineapple).

Perhaps you needed to serve it on a silver plate. Cats have staff...Dogs have family.
This cat thinks he is a dog. He is extremely aggressive in his cuddling (as in pushing him off doesn't effect him he jumps right back into your lap), hangs out with the dogs, drinks out of the water bowl at the same time as them and even goes outside on a leash with us. He also has learned to growl and fluff up at the door and windows alongside the dogs when they bark at the door. He truly does think he is a dog (except for the willing to be able to eat treats thing).

Mmmh? Can't have flowers in the house because of the cat? Maybe it's because of your ability to kill all vegetation with your stellar (not) gardening skills.:p

Haha oh I meant the kind my husband or my dad would bring me in a bouquet that go in a vase... and ya they die in under a week for me also but the cat also eats them (and usually pukes them and then the dogs eat the puke if I don't find it in time). My husband has learned that flowers aren't the best treat to bring home for me but my dad keeps bringing them to me anyways. lol

Puke!....How vivid, especially when it's shared between housemates.:eek: And I suppose the dogs want to give you a big, soggy kiss after cleaning it up. Yuck!

Oh absolutely. They love sharing cat puke and also cat poop with me. They figure we should all share the delicacy together. So much love in this house.

His kitten picture made me think he did, he looked a lot whiter then in the older pics.
