Welcome to the Forum! This is a great place for help and support and a good laugh.

I love the picture of your pup, Bailey looked the same back then, and we chose not to crop. Her ears are beautiful and I love to kiss then. Thankfully, she's pretty tolerant to all the mushy stuff.

Bailey usually hates water. She'll use her 130 lbs to enforce her view, but, my husband and I are both heavyweights so...to bath...to bath...to bath she goes. This summer we're going to take the long drive to the beach that allows dogs. We're hopeful that if it doesn't look like a bathtub, it will look like a playground. And, it would help if there were other dogs there...you know, "monkey see, monkey do."

At any rate, so glad you found us and, Again...WELCOME TO OUR PACK![/QUOTl
love your photo so sweet and wrinkly! My husband and I are also heavyweights and at 4 months old wow my Ruger is a strong boy!

Thank you! Good to know! What length of physical activity would you suggest is still healthy? 45 min walk too long?
I am no expert...just use your common sense and I am sure he will let you know when he wants to be physical & when he doesn't, no forcing it is key. I think swimming is fine so let him swim as much as he wants. Enjoy this time of less activity & eat your wheaties because you will see how much more activity they need as they get older. Zeela is only 9 mos now and we will walk at least a mile everyday and she still wants to go...I am growing some serious muscles (better than the gym). ;)
