Just wanted to say hello,
I have a feeling I will be viewing lots of posts to get support.
I have a 6 month old English Mastiff called Buddy
This is my second pup, we already have a 9yr old Boxer, Indie. She is slightly disabled due to falling down the stairs at 6yrs old (just walks with a noticable limp, but keeps up and is doing well).
I've never owned a Mastiff before - it is definitly an eye opener
Buddy growls at people and other dogs whilst on the lead, pulls alot and basically sounds nasty. We're currently working with him to reassure and hopefully training him out of it. When he meets the other dogs (off lead) he is lovely - proud mum. It's just the lead control we need to work on. I have noticed other people dealing with the same challenge - I'll be reading up alot.
I look forward to chatting x
