  • Welcome back!

We decided to spruce things up and fix some things under the hood. If you notice any issues, feel free to contact us as we're sure there are a few things here or there that we might have missed in our upgrade.

Please consider a donation to your local shelter and rescue this holiday season

Please consider giving your local shelter a call and asking what they can use this holiday season. Some things to consider are dry/wet food, towels, blankets, kitty litter, bleach, toys for the animals (that can't be destroyed, like nylabones, kongs, etc), paper towels, laundry detergent, etc. Or your time. There are always litter boxes to be cleaned and laundry to do.

I usually donate to my shelter rather than a local rescue, only because the local rescues use foster homes. I know that I always make sure my fosters have Xmas prizes just like my own pets do, as do the other foster homes I know. Shelter animals, not so much.

Happy holidays everyone!

I donated what I could to a local Boxer Rescue group in my area that I know has a lot of dogs in need of homes right now and medical expenses to cover. Do you know if shelters will use old dog sweaters? I have a few in good condition that no longer fit my puppies. If they will take those I can bring those over too.

The other thing we do around this time is look for homeless people who have dogs with them and we usually bring them bags of dog food when we can.

I add my voice to Boxergirl's, open your hearts and wallets, and, if possible your home, either fostering or adopting. We experience Plenty at this time of year, lots of good food, good vibes with our relatives and open hearts that choose to be generous to everyone. Let's remember those poor souls in their cold cages, waiting for their Furever Homes.... A blanket, an indestructible toy, a kind face with gentle words, we can give these gifts and bless those who wait for their Christmas Miracle. Make sure your local shelter has the food and help they need over the holiday season. Bless Them with a gift from the heart...give them what you can, and if you can't give...give your time, ask what you can do to shape a better tomorrow.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.

Me and my daughter are going today to a place called peterborough, we have ready wrapped up for the homeless people warm socks scarves hats, goodies, then for there dogs, food treats a blanket, we do for 10 people, then theres a new homeless shelter just opened, sadly a gentleman died in the cold last year on the doorstep of the building so its opened in his memory, so weve been collecting blankets clothes dog leads coats for the shelter,
Please people donate what you can, the smallest donation can make the differnce to someone that has nothing.

Yes! I'm sorry. Of course donate to homeless shelters/people too. I suppose I assume people think of that first, what you know what they say about assuming. My daughter has spent holidays serving meals at a homeless shelter/soup kitchen. It really made her appreciate all that we have.

Nik, Bailey's Mom, Glen ... you guys are the best.

Nothing to be sorry about, iv just got back, it was way too easy ro find 10 people with dogs that was living on the streets, the new homeless shelter is going to help a lot as this one will allow there dogs in also, way to many turn them away as no animals allowed, this is why i chose to support the one i did, each mattress thats placed as a dog bed at the side and 2 dog bowls,
I forgot to say we gave out small pop up tents today, a lot of people use them on holidays on the beach then throw them, one man called billy popped his up his dog spike jumped in on his new blanket,
