As you know I lost my sweet Stella last week. I've been browsing the craigslist ads for a local dog to adopt or buy. It doesn't have to be a mastiff, just a dog that needs a home. Well this ad in the Kenai Peninsula section caught my eye:

Cute pups, right? Too good to be true? So I emailed him last night to inquire more and this morning I received an email from him. He's in Kansas! Or so he says. Lots of cute puppy pics included in the email. I'm on my way to work right now or I'd up load them here. I bet if someone else here would email him, you'd get the puppy pics too. I haven't answered him yet. Funny that he lives in Kansas, that's where I used to live and could easily have someone go by to look at the pups, unless it's way out in western Kansas.
Anyway here's what he wrote, sounds like a bunch of crap:

Thanks for the mail regarding my adorable puppies.they are spunky little babies with an outstanding personality and behavior that you can't help it but fall in love with them .they are home raised and potty trained with good temperament with kids and other pets and they
are very smart to adapt to new people or being friendly . they are up to date in their shorts and records. They are 12 weeks old. What i am interested in is a loving and caring home and a home that would give them all the love,affection and attention that they deserves as home pets they will bring so much love and joy to your home or family.You will get just the best from this intelligent little babies they needs attention,lots of love and affection,lots of kisses and hugs, are sure you will give all that to them They are AKC Reg and would be coming with all their clothing's,toys,blanket and documents such as Health, Vaccinations, Pedigree and Microchip, before approving your home for them i will be needing the below details to determine your experience with pets and safety for the pups our reasons for adoption is just our new Apartment in Kansasdo not permitting pets and however my job schedule, no time to feed or pampered the pups back at home they are still young to stay hungry for long. my kids and i are weeping for giving away our hearts we have no option and since i love these puppies like my kids i will never sell them and perhaps search just a perfect home.

All me and my lovely family has ever offer these puppies from day one was just love and that is what is making them grow very healthy and happy and that is all what we want them to experience in their new loving homes. if you are sure of giving this lovely puppy a befitting happy home,then we would be very much happy to let them go over to you. please email back to confirm to us if you are willing to give them a good home.
