Hello, did anyone of you dog lovers ever give your dog sea algae? What ate your thoughts about that?

When Mateo tore his ACL, I gave him Green Lipped Mussel powder (among other supplements) to help him heal. http://www.dogsnaturallymagazine.com/green-lipped-mussels-dog/

It's not sea algae, though--- are you referring to spirulina or blue/green algae?
Hey this one is sea algae ,i dont know which one is but they advertise it as sea algae used for skin improvments regarding pigment and generally helping dogs body and say it its just algae without any chemical filers.

I used to give my dog kelp powder. I honestly cannot tell you if it helped in anyway. Might help with thyroids.

I'm making up some bone broth right now... I put a big piece of kombu and a handful of shredded seaweed in it for added mineral content.
I also give Denna green-lipped-mussel powder every day for "joint juice". I think it has helped her.

"sea algae" is a pretty generic term... here's a rundown from dogsnaturally on the subject - there are some good reasons to include it: http://www.dogsnaturallymagazine.com/sea-vegetables-and-their-health-benefits-for-dogs/

I dont know which algae is in this product ,it is declared as ascophyllum. Did you hear for that? It is full of minerals and acids something like kelp but i think its not kelp in it. Any advice is welcomed
