Snow Day!! (and new puppy!)

Rhaegar had his second ever snow (and very first at the farm), and he had a blast! He is also getting a new baby sister - we are bringing her home a couple days before Christmas. We have visited her a few times and are in love! Well, not Rhaegar. He's going to hate her.

OMG! That puppy is so adorable...how could Rhaegar hate her, plain jealousy I'm guessing because she'll be getting so much love poured out on her.

Love the pictures...you are such a talented photographer. And the farm looks lovely (albeit cold) with all that white stuff. I'm presently buries in white stuff and not enjoying it one bit.

Here's hoping that Rhaegar takes his new sister under his wing and teaches her about the does and don'ts of farm life. Don't eat the chickens/goats, etc., Do protect the chickens and goats from everything else. And, of course, look up to her big brother for everything and be willing to play second fiddle because he's the boss.

Thanks! We lost our 15 year old kitty to lymphoma 2 weeks ago. That was tough, but with chemo we had a very good quality 9 months with him post diagnosis. Otherwise, all the critters are doing great. Rhaegar works really hard keeping our fox at bay, so we still have all 12 chickens that we started with, and the goats are fat and happy. Rhaegar is a very good protector for "his" chickens. Mazey, Atlas, and Bitsy are all doing great.

Thank you! Sometimes I feel like I might be living in a postcard. And then something happens like I have to park at the top of the driveway and walk ALLLL the way to the house in the snow because there's no way my car will make it back up the icy drive to get to work, lol.

I figured you wanted to see Mazey. She is really doing well all things considered. She's getting a bit senile (going on 13), but actually seems to be happier for it, lol. I think it might actually free her from some of her fear and anxiety. The goats are hilarious. Like naughty little boys.

Haha, thanks! I hope you get some rest! I use a Canon EOS Rebel T5i. My husband got it for me last year for my birthday, and I love it!
