Snowday fun for all!

Schools were closed here today because of ice so my oldest was home. They all wanted to play outside - so of course Mario does too. We have a dog sled... but since there really wasn't much snow my husband just attached a leash to his collar & we thought we'd see what he did with a sledding sled & the smallest kid. he did it with my 60# kiddo too. Maybe santa needs to bring him a harness for Christmas.

Thank you! The kids thought it was the best thing. It was fun. he just trotted down the sidewalk until he got to where the neighbors had shoveled then we turned around & went home.

Central- 45 min south of Champaign
So it was nothing like what people south of 70 got. But to you northerners I suppose we r southern IL. lol basically our light snow had melted a little then refroze over all the roads/driveways/sidewalks.

Thank goodness we only got a little freezing rain and about 4 inches of snow.

But tomorrow morning 20 below w the WC I can hardly wait

Brrr... My Inlaws are in Gurnee & Crystal Lake- somedays it's like we aren't even in the same state let alone 3-4 hrs away - we'll have 15-20 temp differences. I think it's supposed to warm up to 31 tomorrow. Yippee!
