Thanks, that is actually artificial turf, and they love it. The front one is Sage and she is actually taller and has darker coloring than Bella. They also have different color collars on which you can't see in this picture. Sage also has more sagging jowls than Bella right now.

Well they don't actually potty on the astroturf - I think it's a don't potty where we play kind of thing. But, yes it is sanitary because we have a spray wash that we use daily. The turf was laid professionally and has a drainage system and then we use wisiwash (http://www.wysiwash.com/) which we actually spray down the entire back yard every other day since they primarily take care of business in the rock.

I was browsing through some old photos and found this-- this is Mateo at about 3 months, with Otis, the big guy next to him. I was so excited to see a Dogue de Bordeaux in my neighborhood, that I convinced the owner to bring him over to meet my new puppy, Mateo.

As you can see, Mateo was not impressed to be woken up from a nap for this photo op, LOL...



Well, mine doesn't have his tongue out, but Otis does.
