Hi! I want to add supplements to my dog's diet, just do not know which ones to add. Lobo is a 1 1/2 yr. old male bullmastiff, 90lbs. Can somebody help me please?ray:
hi leelee! he gets commercial dog food and nothing else. My biggest concerns are his joints and coat. At the moment he is a basically healthy dog, but still growing. If adding supplements can prevent problems he might have in the future then am all for it.
I feed raw, so I really don't add any supplements other then Salmon oil for additional Omega 3's and kelp for trace minerals. I have used ester c (vitamin c) and also vitamin e which helps our large breeds. What kind of dog food do you feed?
I have two bullmastiffs and feed Acana/Orjien. Don't give any supplements but do give them Zukes "Hip Actions" treats daily, packed with healthy stuff for joints/hips.
With a high quality food, you should only have to supplement with glucosamine/chondroitin/MSM and Ester C.
I have a torn meniscus and I take Ester-C with my joint support.... it really does help absorption of the good stuff!

pets food. This is not right completely. Artificially manufactured supplements can be injurious for health and
I hope that you have got it. regards
I use vitamin C, fish oil, and a joint supplement. If I were feeding dry food only, I would also supplement with fresh proteins like meat, fish, or eggs.
