Thinking of buying a TM from abroad - BUYER BEWARE

I have just received a news letter from the Tibetan Mastiff Club of Great Britain and one of the articles I found quite interesting and thought I would share the photos that accompanied the article for all of you who may be considering buying a TM from a breeder that is in a far off land or even near by where you have or are considering buying sight unseen.

The article is just mainly snippets that go along with the photo's - the main point was these photos serving as a warning about how the camera can lie and buyer beware!

I know a lot of people buy a dog sight unseen and have them shipped.
I could see this if it was from a breeder you knew to be solid and trustworthy, but I can also see a lot of issues with this type of transaction.

I have also heard of people buying them from China, have them shipped over here, give them a bath and hair extensions and dye come out.
I also don't believe these ridiculous prices people pay, a Chinese guy where I work said that there is never any proof that any money changes hands but it's great advertising for Chinese breeders.
honestly some of the Chinese TMs look like they have been crossed with Ovcharkas.
