very true Bullybug. All of the breeders I have known tie a colored ribbon around their necks to color code each and track their growth. My Mamie was light purple. :D

Yes, we always color coded, unless the litter was small and then we just knew. We had a litter of 3 poms and knew them all on sight since one was a very dark sable and the other two were lighter (one of the lighter was male, made it real easy). I used colored nail polish once but was not too happy with it. i actually recommend color nail polish during whelping, especially during a c-section. We marked all the nails, made notes on who was what color and then transferred them over to yarn and ribbon once everything had calmed down and momma was sleeping.

As we have heard nothing further from Dujac (I apologise for my misspelling -- I was talking to a client named Shupak whilst I was typing), I am actually concerned that something has gone wrong with Grace and/or the pups......has anyone got any non-confidential info that all is well?

I am hoping that she is just ignoring this site. The last thing I would want is something to happen to the puppies or Grace. Hopefully they are doing well and growing perfectly.

Wow... looks like I was missing out by ignoring this thread LOL. Dujac looked like a LOVELY human. I think if I had turned this into a drinking game, and drank when ever she said Attack/attacked I would have died lol.

If you breed a dog, YOU ARE A BREEDER. I don't care if it's just a one time thing, you're a breeder, and in this case a BYB... a BYB in denial. The worst part... oh I've done all the research and I know all about the health testing... I just chose to ignore it all? WTF? Ignorance is bad enough, but this? Wow. Glad she's gone, hope the poor dog and pups are OK.

ok, so this is an actual interest question about the outcome of the puppies lives, is there going to be a breeders contract regarding the spaying/neutering of these dogs?

Of course not! Every dog deserves to be bred right? They don't need to pass genetic health thesting, they don't need to prove themselves in the conformation ring, they just have to be a beloved pet and the owner just has to want a puppy from them.

I knew you would respond to that post. Funny how someone who claims to only want help ignores actual advise and concern for his dogs but jumps at the opportunity to stir the pot some more.

i knew you would respond to that post, what's funny is how you pretend to offer advice and concern, but in reality try to control my actions

you might as well cease and desist, anything you say, i have zero trust in

If you breed a dog, YOU ARE A BREEDER.

my vet and several professional em breeders i'm in contact with, say you don't know what you're talking about

you're a breeder, and in this case a BYB... a BYB in denial. The worst part... oh I've done all the research and I know all about the health testing... I just chose to ignore it all?

if you're going to make judgements, try reading what i wrote instead of making things up

I am glad to see you back on the thread, and I am hoping it means Gracie and puppies are continuing to thrive.

Great to hear -- I was a bit worried when you disappeared! That is such a cute phase -- when their eyes are opening and they are up on those tiny legs. ...... and is Gracie holding her weight ?
