Any reason why you're getting the puppy early? There are plenty of threads about which foods are appropriate for mastiff pups. You'll need to start off on whatever the breeder has them on before transitioning to something else.
I just transitioned my almost 4 month old Neo to 4Health, and very happy with it. I did 10 day transition each day adding 10% of new and taking away 10% of old food. He stool is firm, and Pandora loves her new food.
