Working (hunting) Dogo Argentino breeders in the US - anyone have a recommendation?

Do you mind me asking the name of the guy in Texas? I know someone who's had Dogos & I hope it's not the guy I'm thinking of. He doesn't take very good care of his dogs. He may be more so breeding Catahoulas now but I was just curious.

Daniel Dhulst

He is breeding

Mataco Von Grossermund
X
Guerrera De Cazador Criollo

He is strictly a hog catching guy

Well the guy I'm thinking of is an ex & a complete MORON. His brother was/is a hog hunter also & dabbled in breeding for a little while. His Catahoulas were gorgeous, serious dogs. My ex got a couple Dogos & was breeding them for a little while. I know you wouldn't recommend a bad breeder to anyone I just wanted to make sure it wasn't the moron. :)

Glad it's not the moron either lmao
I actually would like to hog hunt one day but I want Treeing Curs if I do .. Only bc they are the ones that do the finding and the catch ... But right now my plates full with all I do now and well you know the rest ..
I just hope Brad likes his dogs .. They are serious!

You need a Kishu! They track, bay, and catch. I want a Dogo to run with my Kishu because boar here are larger than in Japan, however my friend runs his three kishu on boar in SoCal with no issues. I just do not want three Kishu.

Well, I found a litter from puma and boar titled Dogo that I couldn't pass up... So I sent a deposit in. Looks like I'll be getting a Dogo soon! :)

I would not recommend IronHillKennels. I was going to get a puppy from them, was promised this & that, gave him a down deposit and then nothing. He did not respond to my emails, I tried calling and the phone was cut off and unfortunately where I mailed the deposit to was to a PO box (so I'm out of my deposit). Wherever you get your dog from just be mindful and make sure you have a good feeling about who you are dealing with.

just wow!!! so sorry this happened. they used to be one of the tops in the Dogo breed.our dogs were always head to head at shows. I have heard lots of disturbing stuff about Scott and his kennel practices. scary stuff from a kennel still pulling off what their name was 20 yrs ago.
