yes, I agree. If you are still intersted in them, I still strongly recommend volunteering.

As a mom I think you are making a very mature decision. It's really hard to give up on something we really want. You've gotten some great advice here. Take the time to do some volunteer work with CCs or any dog adoption organization. You will learn sooo very much about dogs and how different they all are. It would be a great experience for you and them. Then when you graduate university get the puppy you've always wanted. Good luck
