Zeus' new slip chain

Got this gorgeous "snake wrap" 100% brass slip chain from Rouge Royalty (Australian site, but does ship internationally) and i have to say I am beyond impressed, with the other chain it would stick in a certain point on the links, but this one slides with ease and does not catch on fur at all! ( Zeus doesn't pull much at all, but if he wears a fabric collar he tends to forget I'm there if there's a nice bush to smell) the collar never gets to the point of "choking" Zeus, it doesn't need to, once he feels the slightest bit of tension he is back walking by my side( then i let him sniff desired spot)Aanyway just thought i would share a photo or two... Zeus' slip chain.jpgzeus with slip chain.jpg

I would like to just add, its only a walking collar he does not wear it unless we are present and attaching a leash ( just had it on him for the photo) :)

Beautiful. I'm a collar-holic, I confess. Someone gave me a burgundy leather/brass traffic lead for Christmas last year; I've been building a "wardrobe" around it ever since. Brass chokes are kind of hard to find. I know the snakes are strong; we use them in the show ring; but most of the show snakes just don't look like they would hold a large powerful dog. I like this one because it looks a little heavier than the average show lead.

I love slip chains. For just general walking I use one at the length that you have on you dog in the picture. He hears it moving and stays right by my side. When I train him I put one on that is snug and he has learned that when I put the one on that is snug that it is time to work.
