Hi, I have a 15 wk old EM puppy and she only weighs 32lbs. I was wondering if this weight is normal for a female(?) She was the runt of the litter so im asuming that has something to do with it. I also noticed today that her head seems small compared to the rest of her body (She has a good bone structure and I didn't know if this was one of those things that they grow in to. Any feedback would be appreciated, thanks!!

Welcome! I wouldn't worry about her weight as long as she's eating well, active and is in fact gaining. Mastiffs can grow for the first two to three years. I'm sure your girl will catch up.

Thanks for the reply. She looks healthy and thats most important. Do you or anyone else know about the head size? Mastiffs are known for their large heads and hers seems small compared to the rest of her body. Is this normal?

I have a 15 week old EM male who weighs 38 lbs. All dogs grow differently at at different rates. I wouldn't worry. As for her head, she looks fine to me. Duke seems lean but he is happy and healthy and isn't that what matters most. Just give her time to grow!

My EM girl who was also the runt of her litter was right around 33-35 lbs at 15 weeks. Now she's 13 months & barely 100 lbs. Looking at your pics I think her head looks fine. Doesn't appear to be out of proportion at all. I agree with just letting her grow at her own pace. She'll even out as she matures! :)
