Leave them out in the snow until they become pupscycles.
Store them in the freezer until spring and thaw them out and start all over.

Man, it must be in the air this week. Lila has always had a thing for squirrels, but Zeek has never paid them any attention...until this morning. He saw the squirrel, then Lila saw the squirrel and all I saw was my life passed before my eyes as they dragged me down the street. Of course, they each flanked different sides of the tree leaving me with the actual tree! (It never occurred to me to drop the leashes.)

I may have just had to rant about it. Either that or the long down-stay on the opposite side of the room from everybody made a bigger impression than I thought it would. Today they are sharing people and toys and for the first time in almost 2 weeks Kryten are without having to growl at Jiggers just because he was in sight. They are both being brats due to being stuck in the house, it's way too cold for anything living to spend any length of time outside, but at least they aren't fighting.

Maybe you should get them a cat to occupy their time.
Something like a bob cat or cougar would work nicely.

Sounds like Kryten found Jiggers weakness, the cold! We have gone through a rough patch with the drop in temp here too. One of the three big dawgs does not like the cold. The other two make fun of her. Leashed and giving the down and stay is working here for now. Snow just starts a whole frenzy of posturing in this house. Oh and we have a pom, trust me that is not any better! Once the pom starts moving through the yard at lightning speed she gets lost in the snow.
