2yo intact male recently marking

We have brought our boy to family and friends' homes since we got him, but I've seen him mark, inside a home, more than once recently. He is 2 next month and intact, we may keep him intact, unsure yet.
Is this a phase, something I can reverse? Or am I doomed? We have plans to have a friend watch him today as we're out of house for a long time today. These folks have a 2 yr old female Cane Corso who our dog plays nice with.

I'm hesitant to have them bring him inside.:pray:

Well, marking is a male behavior intact or not. neutering will do noting for certain behaviors, aggression human or dog, Marking, nor hyper activity. My first male was neutered at 13 months as i thought it would help with dog aggression . I later found out from another vet that this is a behavior issue not testosterone. He continued to mark as well even people that were overly friendly to him. he would cock his leg and squirt on their shoes once the petting stopped. consistent correcting and reasonable consequence for the naughty potty marking will get a message across its not acceptable.

It's a behavior that he doesn't know is wrong. By catching him in the act and making a big deal about how upset you are and then immediately taking him outside and making big deal about marking outside it can be a behavior that is relatively easy to correct. That's what I did when Kryten tried to mark inside. It was never at home but in public places so it's possible that he was covering another dog's pee spot. That could also be the case if the homes he marked in have existing or previous dogs.
