4 m/o too young to use a halter?

Hi everyone,

Murphy is 4 m/o now and we've been walking for a few weeks, and he seems to be getting too distracted by things, resulting in him pulling quite frequently, and he is getting heavier and heavier every day so I'm beginning to feel him on my end of the lead.

Is 4 m/o too young to use a head halter? Murphy's neck is 16in all around and he turned 16 weeks old yesterday.

Thanks,

Joe.

Nope, just make sure that when you're using it you don't allow him enough leash loose to lunge forward as that sort of movement can cause neck/spine damage when the halter snaps the head around.
