My name is Jason and I am new to the forum... so hello everyone! I have a 4 year old mastiff named Chloe who is an absolute angel. She is of proper height but a little on the skinny side (130lbs). She eats well and regularly and until a few days ago has been very healthy. I made the mistake of giving into my soft spot for my 3 dogs (the other two are lab mixes, one is 18! and the other is 11... the 11 year old is my baby and the 18 year old is a rescue/adoption from a relative who passed) and 2 cats, by buying them scraps from the local butcher whenever I go there. I bought the three dogs bones and keep watch on them to make sure they did not swallow any large pieces. The two lab mixes are just fine, Chloe is seemingly having stomach discomfort. She has no distention, bloating or even tenderness. However, she did throw up a small amount on two separate occasions with the second time having a fairly sizeable piece of bone in it. She is ok most of the time, but will wimper when she is lying down and straighten out, exposing her belly to either my wife or I. What should I do? If there is no distention of bloating is a vet visit warranted. I have decided to try to observe a bowel movement today after work but I am in Ohio, so its -5 degrees and I have a fenced in yard, she would likely not go on a leash. If she has a regular bowel movement is all well or should i act on this? Thanks in advance
