Hello,

We have a 5 month old, OEM, he is about 100 lb so far, excellent shape, goes out side to unrinate, but is also showing signs of incontinence in the home. Often when walking around he is peeing/dribbling as he goes. It does not smell, is almost clear is this a common thing with a large growing pup? He does not drink too much as we don't keep the water down all the time, as our young children will keep dumping it over. When he does drink yes, he drinks a lot, but he is always like that so we "limit" his intake.

Personally I would never limit a pups water intake.
They need a lot to keep hydrated. I know it is hard with kids, I ran a day home for 7 years, but training the kids to stay out of the water is your best option.
It could be that he drinks so much at one time he doesn't pee it all out when he is outside.
I would ask your vet and see what she says.

Castle, our male BM started doing the same thing shortly before he started marking. I just let him mark one or sometimes 2 times after he pees before I bring him in. It seemed to help in our situation. But I think a trip to the vet would be in order to rule out a UTI 5 months seems a little young. Castle was a little over 6 months when he started doing what you describe.

It can be common in large breed dogs to do this while growing. Our corso did this as well for a few months. I wouldn't worry about it, He'll outgrow it. I would not limit his water intake however.

Get him to vet. Doctor knows . Not us. But water should always be down thats why he over drinks . He knows it wiill not always be there. Except just before or after meals . Leave water down, train chidren
