I was able to take a picture of all three of my babies together the other day. The littlest one and his furry siblings.

kaiden the little furless one has been gaining more control of his hands and he also likes to try to reach out and touch them.

And of course Kahlua is always eager to give him the kisses

Overall the newest member of our pack has been fully accepted and he seems pretty happy with his place.

Just as an aside. I don’t ever leave kaiden alone with any of the pets and I don’t typically even have him sitting next to them without my arms around him this was just to capture the cuteness on camera. The dogs are actually really good with him and probably there would never be an issue but I am naturally paranoid and believe in being overly cautious. So all their interactions are with me right there. This also keeps Kahlua from constantly bathing him and keeps him from licking the dogs (licking is his newest thing... maybe he learned it from them).

Awwww nic you've got a perfect little boy there,
I'm in no doubt safety comes first with you, what better age to train a young man how to respect animals, I had 4 children growing up with rottweilers now 5 grandchildren growing up with 3 mastiffs,
The only problem I had was with one of my sons friends he opened the door to let my hottie out and went to kick it up the bum to make him go quicker, obviously I wasn't happy, and the fathers response was well my kids do what they want to my dog. So after that every time there friends came round if they hadn't been before I'd explain to them what was not allowed with my dogs.

Teaching them how to be with the dogs is so important for sure. Kaiden may only be a few months but now that he is learning to touch. I am already emphasizing gentle with him and guiding his hands to try to demonstrate a gentle touch. I can definitely see how friends would need an education when the time comes that Kaiden has friends coming over. That father you dealt with would have had an earful from me with that response. Grr people like that.

Aww thanks! I think he looks like his dad. But, I love his sweet little face so much. Something funny is that we were out for the first visit with santa and other parents that saw him kept commenting that he had great eyebrows. Like multiple people. So afterwards Sean and I were like "Umm... is that a nice way of complimenting someone's baby because you think the baby is ugly and have nothing nicer to say? Like Oh ya you have a baby it has eyebrows. Great eyebrows." Because we think he is the cutest thing ever.... but then again all parents think that. lol

I see your husband in him and had initially thought he looked more like his dad. Now I see an awful lot of you, tempered with your husband's features. Which makes him a definite looker!

Chev Top of Stairs.jpg Speaking of licking, my black Labrador licks about everything...my wife says that he "Can't hold his 'licker'". Here is Mr. Chev on the top of the stairs.

Today Kaiden and I were unintentionally twinning. I didn't even notice until end of the day.

Now in that picture I see your husband. I can't wait to watch him grow up. He's such a little man already.

Love the pictures! Your son looks so adorable! No ugly in that baby what so ever!
I never had any doubts that you are a responsible fur and human mommy.
Thanks for sharing these amazing pictures!

He certainly is a little man! He actually grunts and makes very boy like sounds all the time. Then again he also sounds like a dinosaur half the time with his odd little noises. But his little cave man grunts are the funniest. We do spend quite a bit of time laughing at him and it's a lucky thing he seems to love laughter and has quite a sense of humor. He has recently taken to pulling in his arms tight when I want to dress or undress him and then he laughs hysterically at me as I try to pull them out to get his arms in the sleeves. He thinks it is the funniest thing ever.
