I hate to post this question as a quick search had turned up quite a few posts on the topic; however my question has not been answered. We are looking at switching our 4 month olds food to Taste of the Wild or potentially another brand. I've picked TOTW as it seems to be what many others are feeding their dogs. From what I have read you want a food with a protein concentrations of less than 23% and a 1.6:1.0 Ca to Ph ratio. TOTW adult large breed pacific stream lists 25% protein and a 1.9:1.1 ratio of Ca to Ph. Do you think this is close enough for a growing puppy? The puppy version is 27% protein with a 1.4:1.0 ratio. What do you guys think? Any other suggestions for a good food? And we will be switching foods at a very slow rate.
