Kia ora. I am looking to see if there are any other Aucklanders on the forum and if so whether they'd like to have a dogue 'playdate' at one of the leash free parks or beaches.
We are keen to get ours socialised with other large dogs and also we'd like to be able to see what other dogues look like and talk to their owners. We are first time dogue owners so we're often unsure what the best course of action is in terms of training, socialisation, feeding etc... Being able to pick the brains of a more experienced owner would be really useful. Similarly, being able talk through our experiences with other new owners would also be great.
Also does anyone know of any mastiff days or events around Auckland. We noticed a while ago that there was a 'husky day' at Meola Reef so wondered if there was such a thing as a 'mastiff day'. We've seen a couple of English and Bullmastiffs at the parks but interestingly we've never seen another actual DDB.
Thanks
