ANYONE looking for Fila pups?

I have a friend of mine (Breeder) going down to Brazil and visiting a few kennels and bringing back a pup for herself. If anyone is interested in a pup let me know and I can hook you up with her so you can see if she will bring back something for you... going down and bring a pup back is alot less expensive than having it shipped over...atleast 300-400 cheaper. let me know.

Id love a fila but with kids friends in and out my household isnt suitable, someday. I work in Brazil some and have seen firsthand the true (beautiful)beast they produce. Great oppurtunity for skmeone here.

Savage, the breeder is located in North Carolina... not TOO far from Florida although it would be at least a few hours drive for you.

I agree that it is best to pick out a pup in person IF you knew what you were doing and looking for with that specific breed. If, you are not VERY well versed in that breed then you are better off having an experienced/knowledgeable person/breeder pick out a pup to your specifications. In this case the breeder is Amy from Canil da Forca and she has been in the Fila Brasileiro breed for YEARS and is enroute to becoming a CAFIB judge.... I would have no problem having her pick a pup for me as well.

Where is the breeder located withing NC?

If I was interested in a Fila that would so totally be an awesome opportunity! I'll stick with my TMs though I think. It'd be cool to see a pup in person, I have to agree.

KEYWORD PUP haha.. This sounds like a great oppurtunity for someone ready for the dog of a lifetime.

I've actually been to her kennel 2 times but to tell you the truth I dont have the name of the town. I can tell you that it takes me about 7 hours driving from my house in Staten Island, NY doing about 95 the whole way, lol. NC is fairly small going through I 95 the bulk of the trip coming from South Florida would be Florida and South Carolina.

Well that's not going to help me LOL. I live in Southern VA, NC border is just a hop away. :D

I would so LOVE to get my Fila puppy now BUT I am still renting and haven't yet started the building of the house. If anyone gets a baby, please post pics.

If it were even remotely possible I'd like to borrow an adult fila to "walk" in my front yard just to deter my schizophrenic neighbor the next time he decides to stand within 10 feet of my bedroom window screaming obscenities at nothing.
