Badddd Gasss

Gotti

Active Member
Hi all,

My 4 month old CC has a bad gas problem. All day every day Gotti passes gas and it literally clears out the room. I dont know if its normal but he sounds like a grown man. I thought it would get better over time but it hasnt. Is there anything that can be done? Is this normal?

I appreciate the help.

In my experience with Kryten his gas could be reduced by adding a digestive supplement of probiotics and digestive enzymes. I also discovered that any time I have given him food or treats that had any poultry in it his gas got extreme to the point where he would clear the room of anything living.

Ditto the above - gas normally means too much food, too rich of a food, and/or too much fat.
Probiotics, digestive enzymes and a supplement with yucca shidigera should also help. Yucca binds nitrogen, which doesn't lower the quantity of gas, but will make them less stinky. :) It worked wonders for our stink-bomb of a bulldog.

My puppy is 4 months and 2 weeks and has the same "problem"...He does that every day, but not all the day...In particular it happens right before he has to go out and do his "stuff" :)...I talked with my vet and he told me to change kibble, but I haven't done it yet

Elvis had that problem. Then I changed his feed and the 'incidences' reduced. Then I changed the treats I was giving him during training and we pretty much have the situation under control.

I named him Gaston. That was before I found out about the gas. An it comes by the ton. Sadams nerv gas has nothing on this dog.

I feed him a food in a purple bag. The reason I feed this food is I have an old dog that will not eat anything else an she gets a rash from cheap foods. I can't think of the name. But I pick up a ba a week .

I talked to the grand mother of the first owner. She laughed when I told him his name is Gaston. She said she used to blame her grandson. And said it would run her out. It is not so bad laity but the noise is very funny.
