Thankyou..just trying to take it all in at the mo..I do everything for my dogs give the best of everything and always end up having bad luck with them.

Hes bit sleepy but much brighter than yesterday..He is metacam daily for now and he wants to see him in 2 weeks time.Not alot they can do,he just wants to keep close eye on him and see how it develops.He wasnt overly worried about his hips as he said it was very moderate but very concerned about the spine..

He said to me on the phone it wasnt forming properly,it was all very confusing and technical and too much to take in.The gist of it is it may not worsen but he still has a year or more of growing so have to keep close eye on it

OK so there is hope that it wont get worse. Thats not all bad.

He said bone could form around it or something but did mention something about degeneration..I was going to talk to him when we got Dave but he wasnt there.Think I will give him a call or have proper chat when we go back in fortnight

Absolutely! You need information so you can be prepared and know what to expect for Dave and how best to help him. I know its a lot to take in but you need to know.

I know but he did say there wasnt a lot we can do apart from wait see how it develops but yes I will grill him further.

OMG, I'm so sorry to hear this about wonderful, precious Dave. :( Let's hope that it will be ok and Dave will continue to gnaw on your figure. Man, I'm in shock, as I'm sure you were when you got the call.

Cheers he is feeling much better but still walking a bit delicate but just let him out in the snow and he sprang into life!
