Haha-- yeah, Milton...Mateo is pretty big.
Here is a pic from a few months ago next to me for a comparison:

And this one in the snow was taken a week ago or so. He's 143 pounds and will be 3 years in May. His father was 160, and Mother in the 130's.

This was the size n shape of my last guy. I am hoping Dante approaches tis as well as I love the quiet power th exude when they are like this. Mateo is absolutely gorgeous. I showed the photo of him to some friends and they thought it was a photo shop. Could I ask how tall you are to get a reference.

This made me laugh and think of a Sesame Street skit, "next to.... and on top of.." ;)

Ha- no photo shop (I don't even know how to use it, LOL.)

I am 5'5" tall and about 106 pounds. Thank you for the nice words about Mateo. :)

Is it normal for Apollo to still be afraid of a lot of things? like, loud noises, kids on bikes, kids on scooters, kids in general. People carrying things or with hats or glasses on and basically any thing new. He gets scared and will growl and bark but you can tell its a fear thing. MY concern is he does not like kids at all, they scare him and he will growl and bark at them and it just looks terrible. He just turned 8 months.

He loves other dogs but is very submissive to them, not scared really just submissive and for some reason most dogs want to attack him.

Ironic my last post regarding Apollo being afraid. The next day we went to the dog beach and he did great!

In fact, out of every dog on the beach, he decided he would try and dominate a 150lb great dane/ lab mix. Of course the Dane did not put up with it lol but Apollo has seemed to grow out of the fear/ submissive stage a little more every day since the beach.

I will post new pics of him soon but for now this is a pic of him today doing what he does best.
