Oh, I'm so very sorry. I also felt like I knew her. I've lost a lot of dogs, but the two that I lost without warning were the hardest for me. My SIL said something to me that meant more than anything anyone else said to me. She said, "Someone always has to suffer. Aren't you glad that it's you and not him?"
