So I bought a pup that max and peachs had and the breeder mentioned she was selling Max the dad, Well I ended up buying him and a puppy of his and brought him home first
Great dog listens trained the whole 9 yards ! Only problem is he's not eating or going poop Is this because of the stress of switching homes ? Thanks Jeff

Very well could be stress - I wouldnt make a big deal out of it, dont want him picking up on your nervous energy. Just offer his food as you would, give him 15 mins to eat, if he doesnt eat pick it up & offer again at the next scheduled feeding. Dogs can go several days w/out eating no problem, as long as he's drinking. Hopefully he'll settle in quickly & starting eating. Congrats on your new additions!

we brought home a 2 1/2 yr old English Mastiff 2 weeks ago today and he is still not eating correctly. He was fed 2x a day so I took the oppurtunity to change him to 3x a day so he is eating smaller meals more times a day ( just lost our Sheppard to Bloat) He eats 3x some days and others he will only eat dinner. So now I will give him a whole big carrot after he eats dinner if he didn't eat the other 2 meals. I don't want him to be hungry. Today he ate breakfast and its almost lunch time. Hopefully he will eat. As for his poop, It has been runny ever since he came. But he goes everyday. And can't keep enough water in his bowls
Congrats on your new family members. I've been told it can take MONTHS for them to adjust
This forum has been a wonderful place for info and help
