Dog food - Moved up to Adult, and the doesn't eat much.

We moved Bones up to Adult food this past week, and he seems to be eating half of what he was eating before. Same brand, same portions, but he doesn't seem to like it.

Is this normal? The bite sizes are double, could that be it?

We use Innova. Should I just give it a few more days to see if he takes to it? Maybe next time buy the small bites again?

I hate to see him eating less, he is a bit on the thin side to begin with.

Thanks!

Hi. we also have a CC pup, I moved him onto adult food at about 6 months and had the same problem. I changed food to Acana which has much smaller size, like little choc buttons and he loves the stuff, bite size does make a difference. Emmet

Have you considered switching him over to a raw diet? Even the most finicky eaters love raw food. Doesn't hurt to try...

Actually since posting this.. he has improved. We added another wet food, and mix the two. He is doing great.. and eating so much more now.
