Dogue de bordeaux puppy training advice

Hi all I have a DDB puppy 8 weeks old , just gotta say there is some great info on this forum. Thanks everyone

My 14 month old DDB boy, Bowser, was a terrible mouther. We taught him 'gentle' as a command which he knows means no biting, no boofing and no rough behaviour. He is really good at being gentle with everyone now although this may be partly an age thing. We have him sleep on his bed outside our bedroom door. I'm sure he would quite happily sleep in our bed but I can't handle the snoring! So he sleeps with his sister, our 9 month old DDB, in the hallway directly outside our room with no issues. He's done that since he was 10 weeks old.

As for following, both mine follow me around continuously. They are just part of the family and love being near their people.

I have just taken on a DDB. I now have 2 dogs that follow me everywhere. The 2 yr old DDB x rottie is in winter mode, i'll look at you with my eyes, as you vaccum around me, as its too cold to move, as you've not put the heating on again!

I can handle a GSD shadow, as they are lithe, nimble, never connect, just there at your side.
I must say a DDB shadow is er, less agile? lol And its hard to shadow someone, if your brain does not allow you to walk backwards yet.
