Feeding guidelines whilst trying to manage weight

We have two rescued DDB's - a brother and sister (almost 3yrs old we estimate). We are trying to get a little weight off them as we were told that they were too heavy. The male is around 70kg and the female is around 54kg. We have significantly reduced their food intake and we've seen some reduction in weight. My concern is that we're feeding the female in particular what seems like a very small amount of food. They're both raw food eaters. The boy gets two handfuls of tripe, two of K9 Natural, and two or three of raw meat. The female is only getting one handful of each. They get this twice per day and they are both obviously still hungry afterwards. Twice a week one meal is replaced by chicken frames (2 for the boy and 1 for the girl). They also have one meaty bone per week. They also have a raw egg a few times a week and we add fish and coconut oil in their food.

I wonder if I'm actually not feeding enough to allow them to put on muscle mass, develop health bones etc... They were both fixed at around 9 months of age and someone told me that can make the females look flabby around their bellies but I'm not sure if this is true.

Any advice would be gratefully received.

keep a eye on body condition, last rib being visible is desirable nice tuck from hip to last rib and a slight tuck from chest drop to rear. Neutering large breeds that early does affect the development . Bone and muscle all require hormone to reach the full potential . so yes neutering will effect that done that early. I have no experience feeding raw but there are many members here that can be helpful with your questions. Good luck and congrats and thank you for rescuing!
