We took the dogs to the beach today, it was Max's first time in the water. We had a blast!

Great pics! Did he get in for a swim?

I have just started teaching my pup to swim. He is great to start with then he stops kicking his back legs, goes vertical, starts to panic and thrashes his front legs like a maniac until I give him a push up the behind and he's on his way again. It's great fun helping him learn.

We didn't get in deep enough for him to swim this time. We don't let the kids go in very far in the big lake, so we stayed in pretty shallow water. He had a lot of fun splashing and running though. Our other EM was a good swimmer, but our boxers have had a hard time with it.
