Future therapy dog?

What is everyones opinion on an English mastiff being a therapy dog?

There is one here in the PALS pet therapy program
My 2 year old Corso is a working therapy dog, I say go for it!
It is great training, fun and giving back to the community in such a way is an amazing experience!
DO IT!!!

Thank you very much ever since I was younger I wanted to and I thought bear was an amazing choice! So we've been training. Any tips?

Get out and socialize as much as you can, get him used to as much as possible. There is nothing you can really do to get them ready to be in a hospital atmosphere, it is pretty intense for them. If you can take them on transit then do, every and any experience makes them solid.
